No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Charleville-Mez. (8-4) defeated on the road 10th ranked Angers (3-9) 57-53. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 16-12. But Angers won second period 12-10. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Angers 41-26 including a 16-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Amel Bouderra (160-89) who helped to win the game recording 15 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. Belgian Kim Mestdagh (179-90, college: Colorado St., agency: LBM Management) contributed with 12 points and 7 rebounds for the winners.
