Regular Season Round 18: Slask 2 Wroclaw - Legia W-wa 83-77

The most important game in the last round took place in Wroclaw between third ranked Legia W-wa (13-5) and fourteenth ranked Slask 2 Wroclaw (5-13) on Sunday night. Legia W-wa was defeated by Slask 2 Wroclaw in a tough game on the road 77-83. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Legia W-wa. Slask 2 Wroclaw made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. 24 personal fouls committed by Legia W-wa helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for point guard Wojciech Jakubiak (180-96) who led his team to a victory with 18 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Slask 2 Wroclaw moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with Biofarm PZN. Legia W-wa at the other side keeps the third position with five games lost. Slask 2 Wroclaw is looking forward to face AZS AWF Mick. (#15) in Katowice in the next round. Legia W-wa will play at home against the league's leader Krosno (#1) where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
