Very important is a road loss of third ranked Campli (13-4) against fourth ranked Falconara (13-4) on Sunday night. Visiting Campli was crushed by Falconara in Falconara 94-62. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Campli. Falconara dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Campli's 26. Falconara forced 22 Campli turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Campli's players. The best player for the winners was center Giacomo Eliantonio (206-88) who had a double-double by scoring 23 points and 12 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). Naturalized Serbian power forward Marko Micevic (201-89) chipped in 16 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Five Falconara players scored in double figures. The former international center Christian DiGiuliomaria (210-79) produced a double-double by scoring 26 points and 11 rebounds and guard Onorio Petrazzuoli (193-88) added 4 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the guests. The victory was the third consecutive win for Falconara. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Campli and Cecina. Falconara will face Giulianova (#9) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Campli will play against Porto S.Elpidio (#8) and hope to win that game.
