Regular Season Round 16: Rosa Radom - Anwil 68-54

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Radom. Second ranked Rosa faced one of their biggest challengers Anwil. Host Rosa (13-3) defeated guests from Wloclawek (12-5) 68-54. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Anwil. American C.J. Harris (191-91, college: Wake Forest) fired 20 points (made all of his eight free throws) for the winners. The other American import point guard Torey Thomas (178-85, college: Holy Cross) chipped in 14 points and 4 assists. Czech swingman David Jelinek (196-90) produced 10 points and 4 assists and the former international swingman Bartosz Diduszko (198-87) added 6 points and 9 rebounds respectively for lost side. Anwil's coach Igor Milicic rotated ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Rosa have an impressive nine-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 13-3 record behind leader Stelmet ZG. Anwil at the other side keeps the third place with five games lost. They share the position with Torun. Rosa are looking forward to face bottom-ranked MKS Start (#17) in Lublin in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Anwil will play at home against Stal Ostrow Wlkp. (#8) and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
