Sixth-ranked San Martin Corrientes (13-11) made lots of trouble for third ranked CASLA (17-12) in Almagra on Monday. CASLA managed to secure only two-point victory 82-80. However their fans expected easier game. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of San Martin Corrientes. The hosts trailed by 4 points at the halftime before their 47-41 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. CASLA outrebounded San Martin Corrientes 40-26 including 30 on the defensive glass. 26 personal fouls committed by San Martin Corrientes helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was the former international Marcos Mata (201-86) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 15 rebounds.
