Regular Season Round 18: Berck - GET Vosges 81-83

Very predictable result when seventh ranked GET Vosges (10-8) edged on the road 12th ranked Berck (8-10) 83-81 on Tuesday. It was a good game for forward Steven Ricard (200-90) who led his team to a victory with 24 points and 7 rebounds. Serbian forward Slobodan Ocokoljic (204-80, college: Weber St., agency: HMS) contributed with 7 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. GET Vosges' coach Laurent Mathis allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Point guard Samir Mekdad (188-86) replied with 15 points and 5 assists and Kevin Mondesir (204-91) added 10 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Berck. Five Berck players scored in double figures. GET Vosges moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Caen and Angers BC. Newly promoted Berck dropped to the eleventh position with ten games lost. GET Vosges will face SAP Vaucluse (#9) in Sorgues in the next round. Berck will play on the road against Saint Vallier and hope to win that game.
