Regular Season Round 14: Galil Gilboa - Maccabi H/H 107-103

There was no surprise in Rosh Pina where 11th ranked Hasharon (5-9) was defeated by second ranked Galil Gilboa (12-2) 107-103 on Tuesday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Galil Gilboa looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Hasharon was plagued by 30 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was American forward Demetrius Treadwell (201-91, college: Akron) who had a double-double by scoring 23 points and 14 rebounds. The other American import Jason Siggers (194-85, college: Albany) chipped in 32 points and 4 assists (was perfect 11-for-11 from the free throw line !!!). American guard Isaiah Sykes (198-91, college: Cent.Florida, agency: CGL Sports) produced a double-double by scoring 20 points, 17 rebounds, 5 assists and 7 steals and guard Yarin Ainhorn (-95) added 25 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists respectively for the guests. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Galil Gilboa have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Hapoel G/A. Loser Hasharon dropped to the tenth place with nine games lost. Galil Gilboa will face Maccabi Raanana (#5) on the road in the next round. Hasharon will play against Hap.R/G Givat. (#6) and hope to win that game.
