Regular Season Round 16: Tur Bielsk Pdl. - Ksiezak Lowicz 63-82

There was no surprise in Bielsk Podlaski where 10th ranked Tur Bielsk Pdl. (4-11) was outplayed by first ranked Ksiezak Lowicz (15-1) 82-63 on Wednesday. Ksiezak Lowicz forced 22 Tur Bielsk Pdl. turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of Arkadiusz Kobus (196-86, agency: Promotex) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds and point guard Hubert Makuch (180-85) who added 18 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals during the contest. Four Ksiezak Lowicz players scored in double figures. Ksiezak Lowicz's coach Robert Kucharek used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side power forward Patryk Bajtus (203-91) responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds and Arkadiusz Zabielski (197-84) scored 12 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Ksiezak Lowicz have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain first position in Group B with 15-1 record. Tur Bielsk Pdl. lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the tenth place with 11 games lost. Ksiezak Lowicz will face league's second-placed AZS UMCS in Lublin in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Tur Bielsk Pdl. will play on the road against Ostrow Mazow. (#5) in Ostrow Mazowiecki and hope to win that game.
