Regular Season Round 19: Lulea Basket - Sallen 78-60

The game between Top Four teams took place in Lulea. First ranked host Lulea Basket (19-1) defeated 4th placed Sallen (13-6) 78-60. The game was mostly controlled by Lulea Basket. Sallen was better in second period 23-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American swingman Christy Bacon (182-80, college: Wyoming) came up with 13 points and 7 rebounds and the former international Kadidja Andersson (183-80, college: Minnesota) added 10 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Sallen in the defeat. Four Sallen players scored in double figures. Lulea Basket have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 19-1 record. Sallen at the other side dropped to the third position with six games lost. Lulea Basket will play against Visby Ladies (#8) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Sallen will play against Telge (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
