No shocking result in a game when third ranked Bnot Hertzeliya (11-4) beat at home 7th ranked Elitzur Holon (2-13) 78-69 on Thursday. They outrebounded Elitzur Holon 47-32 including 34 on the defensive glass. It was a good game for American forward Keisha Hampton (187-90, college: De Paul, agency: LBM Management) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 11 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals. Her fellow American import center Michelle Snow (196-80, college: Tennessee, agency: LBM Management) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 16 rebounds for the winners. Four Bnot Hertzeliya players scored in double figures. American point guard Jamierra Faulkner (168-92, college: S.Mississippi) answered with 29 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and Nigerian-American forward Atonye Nyingifa (180-90, college: UCLA, agency: Regeneracom Sports) added 16 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) in the effort for Elitzur Holon. The victory was the third consecutive win for Bnot Hertzeliya. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Ramat Hasharon and Maccabi Ashdod. Elitzur Holon lost their third game in a row. Bnot Hertzeliya is looking forward to face league's leader Maccabi Ramat Hen on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
