SM-sarja top team - Catz Lappeenranta (18-1) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed seventh ranked Aanekosken (6-10) in Aanekoski 98-74. The game without a history. Catz Lappeenranta led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Aanekosken's 32. Catz Lappeenranta forced 20 Aanekosken turnovers. American players dominated the game. Power forward Chandra Harris (185-89, college: Georgia St.) fired a double-double by scoring 25 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Guard Jennifer Schlott (168-91, college: Utah St., agency: LBM Management) chipped in 18 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Center Kenya Robinson (182-70, college: New Orleans) produced a double-double by scoring 22 points, 12 rebounds and 7 assists and guard Donia Naylor (185, college: Bowie St.) added 18 points and 14 rebounds respectively for lost side. Five Catz Lappeenranta and four Aanekosken players scored in double figures. Aanekosken's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Catz Lappeenranta have an impressive 16-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 18-1 record. Aanekosken at the other side dropped to the sixth place with ten games lost. Catz Lappeenranta's next round opponent will be Tapiolan Honka (#4) on the road.
