Regular Season Round 32: Jiangsu TX - Jilin NE T. 94-108

There was a surprise result when nineteenth ranked Jilin Tigers (8-24) beat on the road higher ranked Jiangsu TX (11-21) 108-94 on Friday. The guests trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 3-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 108-94. It was a great shooting night for Jilin Tigers especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 73.3 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American-Puerto Rican center Peter Ramos (222-85) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!) and 13 rebounds (on 17-of-22 shooting from the field) and the former international forward Cheng Zhong (206-89) who added 5 points, 7 rebounds and 10 assists during the contest. Jamaican center Jerome Jordan (215-86, college: Tulsa, agency: Priority Sports) responded with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds and point guard Xin Feng (187-92) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 assists. Four Jilin Tigers and five Jiangsu TX players scored in double figures. Jilin Tigers moved-up to seventeenth place. Jiangsu TX lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the sixteenth position with 21 games lost. Jilin Tigers will face higher ranked Jiangsu Dragons (#10) in Nanjing in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
