Rather expected game in Bahia Blanca where 4th ranked MH Basket (10-10) was defeated by second ranked Olimpo (12-9) 83-71 on Friday. The game without a history. Olimpo led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to MH Basket's 28. Worth to mention a great performance of naturalized Italian point guard Mariano Castets (183-83) who helped to win the game recording 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and Cristian Miguel who added 18 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side American center Dazmond Starke (201-90, college: Ky Wesleyan) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 15 rebounds and guard Martin Muller (191-85) scored 19 points and 4 assists. Four MH Basket players scored in double figures. Olimpo have a solid four-game winning streak. Newly promoted Olimpo maintains second position with 12-9 record having just one point less than leader Villa Angela. Loser MH Basket keeps the fourth place with ten games lost. Olimpo will face Alianza Viedma (#3) in Rio Negro in the next round, which may be the game of the day. MH Basket will play on the road against Gimnasia LP in La Plata and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
