Regular Season Round 15: TTU - TU/Rock 57-92

Alexela KML top team - TU/Rock (12-3) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed sixth ranked TTU (6-9) in Tallinn 92-57. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of TTU. The game was mostly controlled by TU/Rock. TTU was better in third quarter 23-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded TTU 37-23 including 23 on the defensive glass. It was a quality performance for Lithuanian center Karolis Petrukonis (212-87, college: Clemson) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds. The former international forward Timo Eichfuss (200-88) accounted for 16 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side. Four TU/Rock players scored in double figures. The former international forward Toomas Raadik (201-90, agency: Promotex) came up with 16 points and international point guard Rait-Riivo Laane (179-93) added 5 points and 7 assists respectively for TTU in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. TU/Rock have a solid series of four victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 12-3 record. TTU at the other side keeps the sixth position with nine games lost. TU/Rock will play against league's second-placed Kalev/Cramo in Tallinn in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. TTU's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Tallinn TLU/Kalev.
