It was a great shooting night for UCD Marian especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 53.3 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of Spanish forward Dustan Moreira (202-89) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 25 points and 18 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). American forward Alexander Zurn (192, college: Gettysburg) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 8 steals for the winners. Four UCD Marian players scored in double figures. The former international point guard Isaac Westbrooks (189-85) answered with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 6 rebounds, 12 assists and 4 steals and American guard Mike Garrow (193-91, college: E.Connecticut) added 14 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Swords Thunder. UCD Marian moved-up to fourth place, which they share with defeated Swords Thunder. UCD Marian's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Dublin Eanna.
