No shocking result in a game in Sant Adria de Besos where fourth ranked Sant Adria (11-4) outleveled 12th ranked Olimpico 64 (3-12) 62-37 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 39-13 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Sant Adria dominated on the defensive end, holding Olimpico 64 to just 5 points in third quarter and to 13 points in second half. Sant Adria forced 19 Olimpico 64 turnovers and outrebounded them 41-30 including a 19-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great evening for center Olga Ruano (191-88, agency: Regeneracom Sports) who led her team to a victory scoring 12 points and 7 rebounds. Power forward Cris Hurtado (187-92) helped adding 7 points and 13 rebounds. The best for the losing side was forward Irene San Roman (177-92) with 12 points and 6 rebounds and power forward Julia Rabadan (180-86) scored 7 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Sant Adria moved-up to second place in Group B, which they share with Rivas Promete. Olimpico 64 lost their tenth game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the twelfth position with 12 games lost. Sant Adria will face Picken Claret (#9) in Valencia in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Olimpico 64 will play at home against IF Air Europa and hope to win that game.
