Everything went according to plan when fifth ranked Santarcangelo (12-6) defeated on the road 14th ranked Bottegone (5-13) 87-77 on Saturday. Santarcangelo made 20-of-22 free shots (90.9 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 Bottegone turnovers. It was a good game for center Alberto Saponi (202-85) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds.
