Second Stage Round 1: Aishin AW - Haneda Vickies 72-68

Aishin Wings used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Tokyo 72-68. It was a very good performance for the former international power forward Evelyn Mawuli (180-95) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds. Guard Sato Shuhana (160-90) contributed with 20 points for the winners. Guard LiQuan Luohe (165-91) answered with 23 points, 5 assists and 5 steals and Arisa Takagi (168-89) added 10 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Haneda Vickies. Four Haneda Vickies players scored in double figures. Aishin Wings will play against Niigata R. (#11) in Tokyo in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Haneda Vickies will play on the road against Hitachi Cougars in Hitachinaka and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
