Regular Season Round 19: Rosa II Radom - GTK Gliwice 86-58

Not a big story in a game when 16th ranked GTK Gliwice (3-16) was rolled over on the road by ninth ranked Rosa II Radom (9-10) 86-58 on Saturday. Rosa II Radom forced 20 GTK Gliwice turnovers and outrebounded them 42-28 including a 18-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great evening for point guard Jakub Schenk (183-94) who led his team to a victory scoring 19 points, 6 assists and 4 steals. Guard Daniel Szymkiewicz (193-94) helped adding 15 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. At the losing side power forward Lukasz Bodych (201-90, agency: Promotex) responded with 9 points and 7 rebounds and swingman Jakub Zalucki (194-89, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 8 points and 4 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Rosa II Radom moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Astoria Bydg. and Spojnia. GTK Gliwice lost their eleventh game in a row. They stay at the bottom position with 16 games lost. Rosa II Radom will face SKK Siedlce (#12) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. GTK Gliwice will play against Pogon Prudnik (#6) and hope to win that game.
