Regular Season Round 15: Oviedo - Al-Qazeres 56-82

LF2 top team - Al-Qazeres (14-1) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed thirteenth ranked Oviedo (2-13) 82-56. The game without a history. Al-Qazeres led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Al-Qazeres outrebounded Oviedo 35-20 including 20 on the defensive glass. It was a great evening for Senegalese center Marieme Cisse (196-95, agency: Josep and Nicolas) who led her team to a victory scoring 21 points and 7 rebounds. American forward Julie Forster (185-91, college: Albany) helped adding 18 points and 11 rebounds. The best for the losing side was center Carolina Ramos (190-93) with 17 points and guard Eva Oliva (176-92) scored 12 points. Four Oviedo players scored in double figures. Oviedo's coach gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. The victory was the third consecutive win for Al-Qazeres. They maintain first place in Group A with 14-1 record. Oviedo lost their third game in a row. They keep the thirteenth position with 13 games lost. Al-Qazeres will face ADBA (#14) in Aviles in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Oviedo will play at home against C.Adelantados and hope to win that game.
