Regular Season Round 15: Villarrobledo - Albacete 57-69

Very expected game when 9th ranked Villarrobledo (4-8) was defeated at home by third ranked Albacete (9-3) 69-57 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Albacete. Villarrobledo was better in fourth quarter 20-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Villarrobledo to just 7 points in first quarter. Villarrobledo was plagued by 30 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for American point guard Marcel Mosley (183, college: Ark.-Pine Bluff) who led his team to a victory scoring 19 points. Massine Fall helped adding 11 points and 7 rebounds. The best for the losing side was guard Michael Torres (188-95) with 15 points and American center Garrick Sims (203-91, college: Lake Erie) scored 9 points and 8 rebounds. Villarrobledo's coach tested eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Albacete moved-up to second place in Group B. Loser Villarrobledo dropped to the eleventh position with eight games lost. Albacete will face Tenerife Naut. (#4) in Santa Cruz in the next round. Villarrobledo will play against Torrelodones (#8) and hope to win that game.
