Regular Season Round 16: Gimbasket WRC - AZS PP 76-72

There was a small surprise in Wroclaw where eleventh ranked Gimbasket WRC (3-13) won against 8th ranked AZS PP (6-10) 76-72 on Saturday. Gimbasket WRC forced 19 AZS PP turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Michal Kamberski (188-96) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 4 steals and forward Jakub Wajerowski (198-94) who added 13 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side Michal Wielechowski (198-94) responded with 24 points and Albert Krawiec (188-94) scored 11 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. AZS PP's coach Waldemar Mendel tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Gimbasket WRC maintains eleventh position in Group D with 3-13 record. Loser AZS PP keeps the eighth place with ten games lost. Gimbasket WRC will face higher ranked Sudety (#6) in Jelenia Gora in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
