Everything went according to plan when fourteenth ranked Sangiorgese (5-13) edged on the road 16th ranked Moncalieri (2-16) 63-60 on Saturday. Sangiorgese held Moncalieri to an opponent 23.2 percent shooting from the field compared to 32.3 percent accuracy of the winners. Moncalieri was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for swingman Paolo Vitali (192-81) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds. Sangiorgese moved-up to thirteenth place in B, which they share with Padova. Moncalieri lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the sixteenth position with 16 games lost.
