Very predictable result when third ranked Falconara (14-4) won against on the road 9th ranked Giulianova (8-11) 77-73 on Saturday. It was a good game for guard Filippo Alessandri (190-89) who led his team to a victory with 23 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). Naturalized Serbian power forward Marko Micevic (201-89) contributed with 15 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Swingman Simone De Angelis (201-86) replied with 16 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Danilo Gallerini (185-80) added 16 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Giulianova. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Newly promoted Falconara maintains third position in B with 14-4 record having just two points less than leader Forli. Loser Giulianova keeps the ninth place with 11 games lost. Falconara will face Ortona (#5) at home in the next round. Giulianova will play against Mola (#15) and hope to win that game.
