Regular Season Round 15: ADBA - Adareva 43-61

Date: January 23, 2016
Not a big story in a game in Aviles where 14th ranked ADBA (1-14) was defeated by fourth ranked Adareva (11-4) 61-43 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 9 points after first quarter, but they stormed back and won the game by 18 points. Adareva dominated on the defensive end, holding ADBA to just 5 points in third quarter. It was a great evening for American-Nigerian swingman Anma Onyeuku (181-91, college: Hofstra) who led her team to a victory scoring 20 points. Chilean point guard Sendy Basaez (170-96) helped adding 10 points and 6 rebounds. The best for the losing side was Congolese center Bashala Emilie (196-94) with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds and Croatian forward Davorka Balic (188-88) scored 11 points. Adareva moved-up to third place in Group A, which they share with Araski AES. ADBA lost their eighth game in a row. They keep the fourteenth position with 14 games lost. Adareva will face Badajoz BF (#11) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. ADBA will play against the league's leader Al-Qazeres in Caceres and hope to win that game.
