Regular Season Round 13: CFBB - Aulnoye 48-71

LF2 top team - Aulnoye (12-1) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed twelfth ranked CFBB (1-12) in Paris 71-48. The game was mostly controlled by Aulnoye. CFBB managed to win third quarter 14-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding CFBB to just 3 points in fourth quarter. Aulnoye held CFBB to an opponent 23.6 percent shooting from the field compared to 43.1 percent accuracy of the winners. Aulnoye forced 19 CFBB turnovers. Forward Marie Frederique Ayissi (184-82) stepped up and scored 18 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and guard Cindy Nowacki (164) chipped in 11 points. Aulnoye's coach Abdel Bellouni felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side center Maeva Djaldi-Tabdi (187-98) responded with 10 points and 9 rebounds and center Ana Tadic (190-98) scored 5 points and 8 rebounds. Aulnoye have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain first place with 12-1 record. CFBB lost seventh consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 12 games lost. Aulnoye are looking forward to face SIG (#4) in llkirch-Graff. in the next round. CFBB will play on the road against Reims (#6) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that they can break losing series.
