Mark Basket (#5) was upset in Kinna by eighth ranked Visby Ladies 69-62. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Mark Basket. The guests trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 4-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 69-62. American forward Samarie Walker (185-92, college: Kentucky, agency: Two Points) fired a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Lithuanian point guard Inesa Visgaudaite (169-91) chipped in 17 points and 5 assists. Four Visby Ladies players scored in double figures. American forward Lauren Gregory (185-87, college: Vanguard) produced a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds and forward Elin Ljunggren (184-96) added 14 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. Visby Ladies maintains eighth place with 5-12 record. Loser Mark Basket keeps the fifth position with seven games lost. Visby Ladies will meet at home league's leader Lulea Basket in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Mark Basket will play against Akropol (#10) and hope to secure a win.
