But Hitachi Cougars were not able to use a home court advantage and lost to the opponent from Tokyo 63-58 on Sunday night. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Hitachi Cougars won third quarter 19-16. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Haneda Vickies won last quarter 19-15. Guard LiQuan Luohe (165-91) notched 21 points to lead the effort and Shibuya Satsuki (168-98) supported her with 10 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Even 15 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists by guard Aya Tsurumi (164-92) did not help to save the game for Hitachi Cougars. Power forward YouLiai Yunashi-Ai (175-91) added 10 points and 8 rebounds for the hosts. Haneda Vickies will meet Toyota B SR (#7) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Hitachi Cougars will play against Aishin Wings in Anjo and hope to win that game.
