Regular Season Round 15: Novaschool - Andujar 82-76

There was a surprise result in Malaga where seventh ranked Novaschool (3-8) beat 3rd placed Andujar (7-4) 82-76 on Sunday. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 22-12. But Andujar won third quarter 24-10. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great evening for Fernando Ferruz who led his team to a victory scoring 22 points and 5 assists. Forward Joaquin Reyes (196-96) helped adding 15 points and 8 rebounds. The best for the losing side was forward David Suka-Umu (197-77) with 14 points and 8 rebounds and center Joaquin Garcia (202-86) scored 15 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Five Andujar players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Novaschool moved-up to sixth place in Group D-East, which they share with Cazorla. Loser Andujar keeps the third position with four games lost. Novaschool will face CAM E.Soler (#8) in Melilla in the next round. Andujar will play at home against Cazorla (#7) and hope to win that game.
