No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked Liege (4-10) crushed bottom-ranked KB D-Glas (1-12) in Oostende 78-54. Liege forced 20 KB D-Glas turnovers and outrebounded them 57-41 including a 24-10 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great evening for power forward Betty Mununga (183-97) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 17 rebounds and 5 assists. Center Laura Henket (183-98) helped adding 13 points and 14 rebounds. Coach Pierre Cornia's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. The best for the losing side was Sasja Fransen (177-90) with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists and Becky Massey (185-0) scored 17 points and 8 rebounds. Liege maintains seventh place with 4-10 record, which they share with Houthalen. KB D-Glas lost eleventh consecutive game. Newly promoted team stay at the bottom position with 12 games lost. Liege will play against league's second-placed Declercq Stortbeton in Waregem in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. KB D-Glas will play on the road against R.Spirou Monceau (#5) in Charleroi to get more than just one victory in their record.
