Regular Season Round 18: Pavia - Desio 63-85

Not a big story in a game when 9th ranked Pavia (7-11) was outscored at home by seventh ranked Desio (10-8) 85-63 on Sunday. Desio shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 52.0 percentage. It was a good game for forward Andrea Negri (193-88) who led his team to a victory with 21 points and 5 rebounds. Forward Edoardo Gallazzi (199-86) contributed with 14 points and 4 assists for the winners. Four Desio players scored in double figures. Point guard Roberto Fossati (187-78) replied with 17 points and 7 assists and power forward Maurizio Pavone (200-84) added 17 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Pavia. Desio maintains seventh position in B with 10-8 record, which they share with Vicenza. Pavia lost third consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with 11 games lost. Desio will face higher ranked Lecco (#6) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Pavia will play against Varese Coels. and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
