Regular Season Round 33: Zhejiang CB - Liaoning H. 106-131

Leader Liaoning Hunters delivered the twenty sixth victory. This time they crushed 8th ranked Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank (19-14) 131-106 in Hangzhou. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank. The game was mostly controlled by Liaoning Hunters. Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank was better in fourth quarter 32-30. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Liaoning Hunters shot 60.5 percent from the field. Liaoning Hunters had a 28-17 advantage in offensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three nailing 15 long-distance shots on high 53.6 percentage. Liaoning Hunters players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. It was a good game for American Lester Hudson (190-84, college: Tenn-Martin, agency: Priority Sports) who led his team to a victory with 35 points (!!!), 8 rebounds and 5 assists. His fellow American import forward Shavlik Randolph (208-83, college: Duke) contributed with a double-double by scoring 29 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. American forward Charles Gaines (201-81, college: S.Mississippi) answered with 24 points and 9 rebounds and Iranian forward Mohammad Samad Nikkhah Bahrami (199-83) added 24 points, 5 assists and 4 steals in the effort for Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Liaoning Hunters (26-7) have an impressive series of twelve victories in a row. They maintain first place, which they share with Xinjiang FT. Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank at the other side keeps the eighth position with 14 games lost. Liaoning Hunters will play against Bayi Rockets (#19) in Ningbo in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank will play on the road against DongGuan Leopards (#10) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
