Regular Season Round 16: MKS DG 2 - Wisla Krakow 69-73

The game between closely ranked teams ended with bottom-ranked MKS DG 2's (0-16) home loss to eleventh ranked Wisla Krakow (4-12) 69-73 on Sunday. Wisla Krakow forced 20 MKS DG 2 turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Sebastian Dabek (188-96) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 5 assists and forward Mateusz Piotrowski (198-88) who added 12 points during the contest. At the losing side Jakub Wantuch (195-98) responded with 18 points and 8 rebounds and Mateusz Szczypinski (193-98) scored 18 points and 6 rebounds. MKS DG 2's coach Rafal Knap tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Wisla Krakow moved-up to tenth place in Group C, which they share with AZS AWF M. II. Loser MKS DG 2 still closes the standings with 16 games lost. Wisla Krakow will face higher ranked Zaglebie (#7) in Sosnowiec in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. MKS DG 2 will play on the road against Alba Chorzow (#8) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
