No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Ortona (12-6) beat at home 10th ranked Monteroni (7-11) 83-67 on Sunday. Ortona dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Monteroni's 26. It was a good game for point guard Fabrizio Gialloreto (185-87) who led his team to a victory with 26 points and 5 assists. Forward Ernani Comignani (200-82) contributed with 17 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Naturalized Dominican guard Yancarlos Jefferson Rodriguez (195-94) replied with 30 points and 9 rebounds and center Manuele Mocavero (203-80) added 14 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Monteroni. Ortona moved-up to fourth place in B, which they share with Crema. Loser Monteroni dropped to the ninth position with 11 games lost.
