There was a surprise result when twelfth ranked Oleggio (7-11) beat on the road higher ranked Monsummano (10-8) 68-58 on Sunday. It was a good game for forward Riccardo Coviello (197-88) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds. Guard Federico Ferrari (197-75) contributed with 18 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four Oleggio players scored in double figures. Forward Gabriele Giarelli (197-93) replied with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 13 rebounds and power forward Giorgio Sgobba (202-92) added 18 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Monsummano. Oleggio moved-up to ninth place in B, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Monsummano keeps the seventh position with eight games lost. Oleggio will face Trecate (#16) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
