Second Stage Round 3: KFUM Central - LF Future 91-83

Very important is a road loss of LF Future (4-2) against KFUM Central (2-3) on Sunday night. Visiting LF Future was defeated by KFUM Central in a tough game in Stockholm 83-91. The hosts trailed by 9 points at the halftime before their 57-40 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. KFUM Central dominated down low during the game scoring 40 of its points in the paint compared to LF Future's 18. They outrebounded LF Future 33-20 including a 26-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was guard Mikael Banks (191-81) who scored 21 points and 5 rebounds. Guard Nils Hedstrom (190-83) chipped in 20 points. KFUM Central's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Andreas Von Uthmann (197-96) who recorded 20 points and point guard Caleb Musie (173-95) added 15 points and 4 assists respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. KFUM Central will face Hogsbo (#4) in Goteborg in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. LF Future will play at home against Eskilstuna and hope to win that game.
