Second Stage Round 2: JX-Eneos S. - Fujitsu RW 66-70

An interesting game for Fujitsu RW (2-0) which played road game in Kashiwa against JX-Eneos S. (0-1). Fujitsu RW managed to get a 4-point victory 70-66. JX-Eneos S. was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Strangely JX-Eneos S. outrebounded Fujitsu RW 47-35 including 21 on the offensive glass. International swingman Chinatsu Yamamoto (175-91) notched 18 points and 8 rebounds to lead the effort and international point guard Mio Shinozaki (167-91) supported her with 16 points and 5 rebounds. Even a double-double of 18 points and 19 rebounds by the former international power forward Ramu Tokashiki (191-91) did not help to save the game for JX-Eneos S.. International point guard Asami Yoshida (165-87) added 3 points, 7 rebounds and 16 assists for the hosts. Fujitsu RW will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. JX-Eneos S. will play against Toyota A. (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
