Another interesting game for Toyota B SR (2-0) which played in Nagoya against Mitsubishi K. (1-1). Toyota B SR had an easy win 81-67. The game was mostly controlled by Toyota B SR. Mitsubishi K. was better in second period 21-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Toyota B SR dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Mitsubishi K.'s 28. Power forward Sari Osabe (174-87) had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Yui Kawahara (169-91) chipped in 16 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists during the contest. Five Toyota B SR players scored in double figures. Forward Yeliunai Genben (173-95) responded with 21 points and the former international swingman Aya Watanabe (170-92) scored 12 points. Toyota B SR will play against Haneda Vickies (#9) in Tokyo in the next round. Mitsubishi K. will play at home against Niigata R. to get more than just one victory in their record.
