Regular Season Round 6: Tadamon - Champville 82-66
Date: January 25, 2016
No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Tadamon (3-2) beat at home 8th ranked Champville (1-4) 82-66 on Monday. The game was mostly controlled by Tadamon. Champville managed to win second period 18-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Tadamon looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Champville's players. The former international guard Mohammed Ibrahim (196-83) notched a double-double by scoring 17 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists to lead the effort and Serbian power forward Vladan Vukosavljevic (206-84, agency: Beo Basket) supported him with 14 points and 11 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Even 21 points and 5 rebounds by American forward DeShawn Sims (203-88, college: Michigan) did not help to save the game for Champville. Georgian power forward Nikoloz Tskitishvili (212-83, agency: Interperformances) added 14 points and 10 rebounds. Five Tadamon and four Champville players scored in double figures. Tadamon moved-up to third place, which they share with Hoops. Loser Champville dropped to the seventh position with four games lost. They share it with Byblos. Tadamon will meet Byblos (#7) on the road in the next round. Champville will play against the league's leader Al Riyadi and hope to win that game.
