The game in Kutno supposed to be also worth to mention about. 6th ranked Asseco (11-7) played at the court of seventh ranked AZS Polfarmex (11-7). AZS Polfarmex smashed Asseco 75-44. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Asseco. The game without a history. AZS Polfarmex led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Asseco to just 5 points in second quarter. They outrebounded Asseco 44-30 including a 34-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Power forward Mateusz Bartosz (205-87) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds for the winners and point guard Grzegorz Grochowski (180-93) chipped in 7 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists. Center Jakub Parzenski (212-91) responded with 12 points and 7 rebounds and guard Filip Matczak (187-93) scored 10 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for AZS Polfarmex. They moved-up to sixth place, which they share with defeated Asseco. AZS Polfarmex will play against AZS Koszalin (#9) on the road in the next round. Asseco will play against Twarde Pierniki and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
