Regular Season Round 7: Artemisa - Camaguey 80-77

The most exciting game of round 7 in the LSB took place in Artemisa. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of 3rd placed Tigres (5-3) to seventh ranked Los Toros (3-5) 80-77 on Tuesday evening. The former international point guard Osmel Oliva (178-87) fired 18 points for the winners. Forward Legismel Borlot (195-87) chipped in 8 points and 8 rebounds. Salvadorean Yordanis Jaca produced a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds and Luis Castillo added 13 points respectively for lost side. Tigres' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Los Toros moved-up to fifth place. Tigres at the other side dropped to the second position with three games lost. They share it with Ciego de Avila and Villa Clara. Los Toros are again looking forward to face higher ranked Tigres (#4) in Camaguey in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Tigres will have a break next round.
