Townsville Crocodiles outrebounded Kings 43-32 including 16 on the offensive glass. Egyptian-American center Omar Samhan (211-88, college: St.Mary's, CA) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 15 rebounds for the winners and American guard Jordair Jett (188-91, college: St.Louis) chipped in 24 points and 6 assists. American swingman Josh Childress (203-83, college: Stanford) responded with 27 points and 9 rebounds and the former international center Angus Brandt (208-89, college: Oregon St.) scored 13 points and 8 rebounds. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Townsville Crocodiles maintains seventh place with 9-16 record. Kings lost sixth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 20 games lost. Townsville Crocodiles will face higher ranked Illawarra Hawks (#3) in Gwynneville in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Kings will play on the road against the league's second-placed Perth Wildcats (#2) and will have a slim chance for a victory.
