There was a minor upset in Inowroclaw where 8th ranked Astoria Bydg. (9-11) was defeated by eleventh ranked Notec Inowr. (8-12) 77-64 on Wednesday. Notec Inowr. outrebounded Astoria Bydg. 48-33 including 35 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was Dawid Adamczewski (190-91) who had a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds. Point guard Aleksander Filipiak (185-90) chipped in 6 points, 5 rebounds, 13 assists and 4 steals. Piotr Robak (194-91) produced 21 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists and power forward Sebastian Laydych (203-87) added 13 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the guests. Astoria Bydg.'s coach Przemyslaw Gierszewski rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Notec Inowr. moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Nysa Klodzko and SKK Siedlce. Loser Astoria Bydg. dropped to the seventh position with 11 games lost. Notec Inowr. will face Nysa Klodzko (#12) in Kloszko in the next round.
