Very significant was Pinar's (#3, 7-3) victory against their biggest opponent Capitalinas (7-3) 88-75. Pinar forced 21 Capitalinas turnovers and outrebounded them 39-21 including a 16-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. International Anisleidys Galindo (179-89) scored 27 points, 5 rebounds, 7 assists and 7 steals to lead the charge for the winners and guard Yusleidys Miranda (173-96) chipped in 18 points and 15 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side the former international Lisdeyvis Martinez (175-89) responded with 13 points and 7 assists and point guard Dairis Tornell (176-92) scored 16 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Pinar have a solid three-game winning streak.
