Bottom-ranked Panteras managed to get a seventh victory, breaking the series of eight consecutive losses. This time they won against fourth-ranked Halcones Rojos in Aguascalientes 90-83. American-Panamanian Levour Warren (196-81, college: S.Carolina) nailed 23 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and American guard Raymont McElroy (190-89, college: W.Virg.Wesl.) accounted for 23 points and 5 rebounds. American-Puerto Rican Michael Rosario (190-90, college: Florida) came up with 17 points and 8 rebounds and American swingman Devin Sweetney (198-87, college: St.Francis, PA) added 21 points respectively for Halcones Rojos in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Panteras maintains eleventh place with 7-22 record. Halcones Rojos at the other side keep the fourth position with 14 games lost. Panteras will again play against higher ranked Halcones Rojos (#4) in Veracruz in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Halcones Rojos will have a break next round.
