Regular Season Round 19: SAP Vaucluse - GET Vosges 60-75

Everything went according to plan in Sorgues where seventh ranked GET Vosges (11-8) beat 9th ranked SAP Vaucluse (9-10) 75-60 on Friday. The guests trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 37-21 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. GET Vosges dominated on the defensive end, holding SAP Vaucluse to just 7 points in fourth quarter. It was a great evening for Serbian forward Slobodan Ocokoljic (204-80, college: Weber St., agency: HMS) who led his team to a victory scoring 15 points and 6 rebounds. Serbian guard Nemanja Marinkovic (187-88) helped adding 14 points. Four GET Vosges players scored in double figures. At the losing side Lithuanian forward Zygimantas Jonusas (200-82) responded with 16 points and point guard Antoine Liorel (181-89) scored 4 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. GET Vosges have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Caen. SAP Vaucluse lost third consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with ten games lost. GET Vosges will face JSA Bordeaux (#16) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. SAP Vaucluse will play against Quimper UJAP (#15) and hope to win that game.
