Regular Season Round 14: Reims - CFBB 77-46

There was no surprise when 12th ranked CFBB (1-13) was crushed on the road by sixth ranked Reims (8-6) 77-46 on Friday. The game without a history. Reims led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding CFBB to just 7 points in second quarter. The best player for the winners was swingman Clementine Samson (181-91) who scored 23 points and 7 rebounds. Serbian center Ana Radovic (190-90, agency: LBM Management) chipped in a double-double by scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds. Four Reims players scored in double figures. Reims' coach felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Center Alexia Chartereau (189-98) produced 11 points and 5 rebounds and forward Emmanuelle Tahane (180-99) added 10 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. Reims have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with LTB 29. CFBB lost eighth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 13 games lost. Reims will face higher ranked SIG (#4) in llkirch-Graff. in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. CFBB will play at home against Avenir (#8) and hope to win that game.
