Second Stage Round 4: KFUM Fryshuset - BG Lulea 100-94

There was a minor upset when 7th ranked BG Lulea (4-9) lost to seventh ranked KFUM Fryshuset (4-7) in Stockholm 94-100 on Saturday. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 29-19. But BG Lulea won second period 25-23. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. KFUM Fryshuset dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to BG Lulea's 46. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. Quite impressive performance for swingman Ebrima-Abdou Dibba (191-99) who helped to win the game recording 28 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists (on 13-of-17 shooting from the field). Guard Sami Harun (185-98) contributed with 26 points and 7 assists for the winners. Point guard Jonatan Arvidsson (180-98) replied with 28 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and swingman David Hook (190-99) added 12 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for BG Lulea. Five KFUM Fryshuset and four BG Lulea players scored in double figures. KFUM Fryshuset moved-up to sixth place in BEHN forts. BG Lulea lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with nine games lost. KFUM Fryshuset will face higher ranked Jarfalla (#3) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. BG Lulea will play against Taby Basket (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
