Regular Season Round 18: Andorra - CAI Zaragoza 91-81
Date: January 30, 2016
No shocking result in a game when eighth ranked Andorra (9-9) beat at home 15th ranked CAI Zaragoza (5-13) 91-81. The game was mostly controlled by Andorra. CAI Zaragoza was better in second period 31-29. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Andorra players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. FYR Macedonian guard Vojdan Stojanovski (194-87, agency: Beo Basket) scored 19 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and Serbian forward Luka Bogdanovic (210-85) chipped in 20 points during the contest. Four Andorra players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Andorra moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Unicaja and Dominion BB. CAI Zaragoza lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fifteenth position with 13 games lost. They share it with Sevilla. Andorra will play against league's second-placed FC Barcelona on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
