Regular Season Round 16: Naron - Agustinos-Eras 74-86

Everything went according to plan when first ranked Agustinos-Eras (10-1) won against on the road 5th ranked Naron (6-5) 86-74 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Agustinos-Eras. Naron was better in third quarter 23-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Naron 44-31 including a 31-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. American center Kevin Rima (204-92, college: NW Nazarene) fired a double-double by scoring 17 points and 15 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. The other American import forward Dionte Ferguson (198-92, college: S.Alabama) chipped in a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds. British-American forward Steve Forbes (206-91, college: IPFW) produced a double-double by scoring 27 points and 12 rebounds and American forward Dylan Sparkman (208-93, college: Ill.-Springfield, agency: Dynamics Global Management) added 12 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Five Agustinos-Eras and four Naron players scored in double figures. Agustinos-Eras have an impressive nine-game winning streak. They maintain first position in Group A-B with 10-1 record. Naron lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with five games lost. Agustinos-Eras will face Betanzos (#12) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Naron will play against Chantada (#8) and hope to win that game.
